Looking for a dash cam installation in Lublin? In this Audi TT we installed a FineVu GX4K front & rear kit with a fully configured parking mode and a hardwire power kit with battery protection. Cables are routed through OEM paths (headliner, pillars, trims) for a clean, hidden and reliable result.
What we installed
- FineVu GX4K – front camera (mount by the mirror; framed within wiper sweep).
- FineVu – rear camera (top edge of the rear glass; angle set to see the bumper line).
- Parking mode – motion/impact detection, event recording, automatic ACC switch.
- Hardwire power kit – BATT + ACC + GND with voltage cut-off to protect the battery.
- FineVu mobile app – Wi-Fi live view, downloads, sensitivity & voltage settings.
Wire routing & power – Audi TT specifics
The compact TT body needs precise routing to avoid rattles. Rear camera cable goes through the headliner and pillars, secured along OEM paths. We take power from the fuse box using a tap and verify standby current after installation.
Parking mode – real-world use
- Automatic – enters parking mode after ignition off.
- Event-only recording – motion/impact triggers to save storage and energy.
- Battery protection – voltage/time cut-off prevents excessive discharge.
