In this Citroen C5 Aircross, we carried out a professional dash cam installation using the 70mai A510S front and rear set. The system was connected with a hardwire adapter, allowing the camera to operate not only while driving, but also in parking mode. All wiring was routed cleanly and hidden inside the vehicle trim.

Scope of work
The installation included:
- installation of the front 70mai A510S camera near the windshield,
- installation of the rear camera on the tailgate,
- hidden cable routing,

Hidden cable routing without loose wires

We pay special attention to cable routing around the pillars, headliner and tailgate. The installation must be carried out safely, without interfering with factory vehicle elements and without leaving visible wires near the windshield, dashboard or seals.

Front 70mai A510S camera – discreet windshield installation
The front camera was installed high on the windshield, in a position that provides a clear view for the lens while remaining discreet from the driver’s perspective.
This location provides a good road recording angle and reduces the risk of obstructing the driver’s field of view. After installation, we checked the lens position, video frame, power supply and correct operation of the whole system.

Rear 70mai A510S camera – tailgate installation
The rear camera was installed on the tailgate, near the rear window. In SUV vehicles, it is important to route the cable carefully through the moving tailgate area so that the installation remains durable and resistant to everyday opening and closing of the boot.
The rear camera completes the front recording and allows the system to capture what happens behind the vehicle. This is useful in situations such as rear-end collisions, aggressive driving by another driver or parking damage.

Parking mode with hardwire adapter
