Lexus UX – Comfort Mat door and wheel arch soundproofing

In this Lexus UX, we carried out a comprehensive car soundproofing upgrade focused on significantly reducing interior noise and improving overall driving comfort. The scope of work included front and rear doors as well as front and rear wheel arches – the areas that have the greatest impact on road noise, tyre noise and vibrations entering the cabin.

For this project, we used high-quality Comfort Mat sound deadening mats combined with Comfort Mat acoustic foams. This type of car soundproofing noticeably improves acoustic insulation and gives the vehicle a more refined, premium driving feel.

Why door and wheel arch soundproofing makes the biggest difference

In modern vehicles – even in premium segments – the main sources of noise are wheel arches and large sheet metal surfaces inside the doors. These areas generate vibrations and resonance that are transferred directly into the cabin.

Wheel arch soundproofing significantly reduces tyre and road noise, especially on rough asphalt and at higher speeds. At the same time, door soundproofing eliminates metallic resonance, improves structural rigidity and makes the cabin noticeably quieter and more comfortable.

Front and rear door soundproofing – Comfort Mat mats and foams

The front and rear doors were treated using a multi-layer approach. Comfort Mat butyl mats add mass and stabilise the metal panels, reducing vibrations, while Comfort Mat foams enhance acoustic insulation and absorb airborne noise.

After door soundproofing, the following improvements are clearly noticeable:

• lower noise levels inside the cabin,
• more solid door closing feel,
• elimination of rattles and unwanted vibrations,
• a much better foundation for a car audio system.

Wheel arch soundproofing – real reduction of road noise

Both front and rear wheel arches were soundproofed using Comfort Mat materials designed to damp vibrations caused by tyres and road surface. The effect is most noticeable during highway driving – constant road noise is reduced and long journeys become far less tiring.

This type of car soundproofing also improves driving comfort by reducing background noise and enhancing overall cabin acoustics.

Viofo A329T dash cam installation – 3-channel system with parking mode

In addition to soundproofing, we carried out a professional installation of the Viofo A329T dash cam, a 3-channel recording system covering the front, rear and interior of the vehicle.

The installation was completed with fully hidden wiring, maintaining a clean and factory-like appearance. The dash cam was connected via a parking mode adapter to a Cellink Neo 8 Plus power bank, allowing reliable parking mode operation without draining the vehicle’s main battery.
