Mercedes GLC – 70mai A810S Front + Rear Dash Cam Installation with Parking Mode Adapter
In this Mercedes GLC, we completed a professional front and rear dash cam installation using the 70mai A810S front camera, the 70mai RC12 rear camera and a dedicated parking mode power adapter. This setup protects the vehicle while driving and provides additional protection when the car is parked.
The system was installed with a clean, factory-style finish. All wiring was hidden under the interior trim, with no loose cables and no visible power supply in the cabin. The front camera was mounted near the rear-view mirror, so it does not obstruct the driver’s view and looks like a natural upgrade to the vehicle.
70mai A810S + 70mai RC12 – 4K front and 2.5K rear recording
The 70mai A810S with the 70mai RC12 rear camera records both the front and rear of the vehicle. The front camera records in 4K, while the rear camera records in 2.5K. This gives the driver a much more complete view of road and parking situations than a single front-facing camera.
A dual-channel setup is useful during collisions, sudden braking, rear-end impacts, reversing, parking and situations that start behind the vehicle. In this Mercedes GLC, the rear camera was positioned to provide a clear view through the rear window.
Parking mode – protection after the engine is switched off
