Toyota Corolla – wheel arches (front & rear) + doors soundproofing & STEG MLG install in 3D ASA adapters

On this Corolla we completed comprehensive car soundproofing covering the front and rear wheel arches and the front/rear doors. Materials used:

We also upgraded the front stage with STEG MLG 650C installed in our in-house 3D-printed ASA adapters (plug&play). Result: a quieter cabin, reduced road noise, and a clear step up in sound quality. If you’re upgrading your system, read more about car audio.

Wheel arches soundproofing – front & rear (Vespa 2.5 + Ultrasoft 10)

Road and tire noise are efficiently reduced with a combo: Vespa 2.5 (anti-vibration) + Ultrasoft 10 (absorption). Shop the materials: Vespa 2.5 and Ultrasoft 10.

FAQ – Toyota Corolla soundproofing & STEG install

1. What exactly did you use in the wheel arches?
A two-layer combo: Vespa 2.5 for vibration damping plus Ultrasoft 10 for acoustic absorption. This cuts tire and surface noise significantly.

2. What layers go into the doors?
We apply Vespa + Bronze 2 mm + Ultrasoft 10. The result is a stiffer panel, airtight door cavity and fewer reflections.

3. Do the STEG MLG 650C speakers need an amplifier?
They work with the factory head unit, but adding an amp/DSP unlocks their full potential – better dynamics, imaging and bass control. Speakers: STEG MLG 650C.

4. What does Ultrasoft 10 do in practice?
Ultrasoft 10 absorbs stray acoustic energy and reduces background hiss, making the cabin quieter and the audio clearer.

5. How long does this take and is it reversible?
Typically one business day. Our ASA 3D adapters are installed non-destructively, so the modification is reversible. Book via Contact.
