BMW G30 550i (M550i) – OEM audio upgrade | HI-END Car Audio
In this BMW G30 550i (M550i) we performed an advanced upgrade of the factory sound system while maintaining full OEM functionality. The project represents a high-end audio solution fully integrated with the BMW factory system.

Car audio equipment used
- ✅ DSP amplifier: Awave DSP 8.1 – 10-channel DSP amplifier
- ✅ MOST signal interface: Audison bit DMI – digital MOST decoder
- ✅ Front and center speakers: STEG BM45CII – dedicated BMW speaker kit
- ✅ Underseat subwoofers: Gladen
- ✅ Trunk subwoofer: JL Audio 10W3
- ✅ Enclosure: 25-liter sealed enclosure
MOST signal decoding – maximum sound quality
Modern BMW vehicles transmit audio digitally via the MOST bus. We used the Audison bit DMI interface to decode the signal and send it via TOSLINK optical cable directly to the DSP processor, ensuring maximum signal quality and full OEM system functionality.
