Volkswagen Passat B5 – car audio upgrade and full soundproofing

At Sound Audio System – Północna 67, Lublin, we completed a full car audio upgrade combined with car soundproofing in a Volkswagen Passat B5.

This project focused on improving both sound quality and driving comfort. The factory system in older vehicles like Passat B5 is limited, which is why a full upgrade including amplifier, speakers and damping brings massive results.

Kenwood multimedia head unit

We installed Kenwood DMX6523DABS – a modern car stereo with sound processor and support for reversing camera.

This significantly improves usability and allows proper tuning of the entire system.

Zapco amplifier

System powered by Zapco ST-104D SQ.

External amplifier dramatically improves control, clarity and dynamics.

ESB Audio speakers

Front: ESB Audio 26K2XP

Rear: ESB Audio 16K2X

Proper speaker upgrade transforms sound clarity and stage.

Subwoofer ESB Audio

Subwoofer: ESB Audio 310D2 in dedicated enclosure.

Adds deep, controlled bass without losing trunk space.

Soundproofing

We performed full car soundproofing including doors, trunk, wheel arches and hood.

This improves both audio performance and driving comfort.
