In the luxurious Mercedes GL X166, we installed the FineVu GX4K dash cam – both front and rear cameras.
This advanced recording system offers:
Front camera with 4K UHD resolution
Rear camera in Full HD
Parking mode with independent power supply
Buffered event recording that captures moments before and after incidents
No Factory Mount? No Problem!
The GL X166 does not offer a dedicated factory mounting point for the rear camera.
We implemented a custom cable routing method and a tailored rear window mount, ensuring clean aesthetics and proper functionality. The installation was fully non-invasive (Plug&Play) and preserved the vehicle’s original wiring.
