Complete Toyota Camry soundproofing – Comfort Mat, CTK, STP Magma

This project showcases a full car soundproofing package for a Toyota Camry: doors, wheel arches, cowl, hood, trunk and tailgate. We used top-tier materials: Comfort Mat Vespa, Comfort Mat Integra, Comfort Mat Bronze, Comfort Mat Ultrasoft 10, Comfort Mat Viper 3 mm and STP Magma. The result is a major reduction of road, tire and engine noise plus a better foundation for the audio system.

Doors – Bronze + Ultrasoft 10

Front and rear doors were treated with Comfort Mat Bronze 2 mm and Ultrasoft 10. The butyl layer stabilises the skins and kills resonance, while the foam absorbs reflections inside the door for a quieter cabin and better speaker performance.

Wheel arches – Vespa + Integra

The biggest improvement on highways comes from wheel arch soundproofing. We combined Vespa 2.5 mm (first layer) with Integra 6 mm (insulator) to cut tire roar and coarse asphalt noise.

Cowl & hood – Vespa / Integra / Bronze

In the cowl we used Vespa + Integra; on the hood we applied Bronze 2 mm to block engine noise from entering the cabin.

Trunk & tailgate – CTK / Viper / Magma / Ultrasoft / Integra

For the trunk and tailgate we layered CTK + Viper 3 mm + STP Magma + Ultrasoft 10 and Integra 6 mm to suppress panel vibrations and shield the cabin from wheel well noise.
