Chevrolet Camaro – 70mai A500S Dash Cam Installation with Reversing Camera

In this project, we completed a professional 70mai A500S dash cam installation in a Chevrolet Camaro. The setup was expanded with a reversing camera, giving the driver not only road recording, but also a practical rear-view image while reversing.

Chevrolet Camaro is a car where interior aesthetics matter a lot. That is why the installation was carried out discreetly — the wiring was hidden under the trim panels and the front camera was installed near the rear-view mirror without limiting the driver’s visibility.

The Camaro received a 70mai A500S front dash cam system with an additional reversing camera. This setup improves driving safety, supports vehicle protection while parked and makes everyday reversing and parking easier.

Front camera installed near the rear-view mirror

The front camera was mounted near the rear-view mirror. This is one of the best positions for a dash cam, as the device remains discreet while recording the road ahead. In the Chevrolet Camaro, we focused on keeping the sporty interior clean and factory-looking.

Reversing camera for easier parking

An important part of this project was the reversing camera. The image is displayed while reversing, which makes parking and manoeuvring easier. This is especially useful in coupe cars such as the Chevrolet Camaro, where rear visibility can be limited by the sporty body shape.

The 70mai A500S system can also support vehicle protection while parked. Parking mode helps record events that may happen in a car park, garage, driveway or outside the workplace. It is a practical feature for owners who want to take better care of their vehicles.
